IEWB Vol 2 lab 13 task 3.7, OSPF distance command

The exact same thing happened with me too. But I am not too sure whether it is a bug. When I shut down the R5-R2 link, the distance changes to the configured value. But then when I reenable it, distance is back at 110.

Real Lab Versus IEWB

Hi,
Thanks a lot for your input.
Till Now, actually my configuration is on the right way, but still wrong selecting the mode to use. Like example ip tcp intercept mode, the answer is watch but I pick intercept, that kind of mistake.

How to speed up…

Hi Anpu,
I like to open multiple windows, one for each device, and also one window for TS. For configuration, I will goto each individual window. The TS window is only used when I need send commands to all devices, examples like “wr, sh run | ex un, end, tclsh, tclquit….”. You can also use that […]

CCIE Lunch at Networkers in Brisbane

Hey All,
I haven’t talked much on this forum but I have been subscribed to it for a couple of years now.
Just interested to see if many people have signed up for the CCIE lunch in Brisbane, which is on the Wednesday at Networkers?

CBWFQ

Hi, I can see two ways of solving this problem:
1) Using CBWFQ outbound on R1
If we interpret “traffic from R2″ as traffic transiting R2, then I would tag Web traffic outbound on R2 Ethernet, and use this tagging on R1 outbound towards the WAN, to reserve 2 Mbps of bandwidth. […]

How to speed up…

Hi Pavlo,
I personally have met with mixed results using this technique. Thus, I 86′d it for lab attempt purposes. Sure would suck to wind up losing half an hour troubleshooting something after shaving off just a few seconds…
Cheers,
Scott

I don’t think people were unaware of the answer (in response to wes) I think most of us were unaware of the question. Nevertheless, a good refresher course on assuming.
