a question about dynamic NAT [7:117721]
Hello As far as I can see, there shouldn’t be a problem here… The routes to both 99.40.165.70 & 10.40.164.233 hang off FastEthernet0/0, which you have configured for ip nat inside. As such provided they meet the criteria of the ip nat inside source list 20 statement, which they do as they are permitted by acl 29, then incoming traffic from these two ips into F0/0 will get natted.
Where a source has been learned from has no bearing on nat, provided that the interfaces they hang off are configured for ip nat inside. eg..if the two ips hung off F0/0 and F0/1, then as long as they are set up for ip nat inside, then all is well.
Regards Roy
