CCDE is official

The skills you learn pursuing the cert will not dilute no matter how many people have a number. If you are truly good at this stuff you will always have a well paying job.
The number is really just there to get your foot in the door.
It will be interesting to see how well the industry accepts this new cert and the master arch that will follow next year.

The CCIE is going to go the way of the mighty US dollar.
The more dollars the Federal Reserve prints, the less the ones in circulation are worth- why we’ve lost so much value against the EURO, etc.

I think panel was never in the play for CCDE. There were rumors about that for Master Architect which is supposed to come after CCDE. Also, separate numbering was discussed, but I’m not sure what’s the final verdict on that one. It’s cool to have a low number, but it’s |beruncool to have two numbers . Ahh, choices…
