I think there are few reviews from classmates for Narbik’s bootcamp, but I also would like to add some more even if others already said it.
First, I really appreciated his passion for teaching. For instance, our class ran from 9:00 AM ~9:00 PM from Monday and got out Friday 6:00 PM. He was giving us a lecture until 9:00 PM on someday and he staied with us until building shut off AC. He was still available even after he went home.
Second, he gave us more than enough study materials that we need for lab. Before I attend the class, he sent us “Sup-To-Nuts”. I highly recommend you do that first before you attend. Then when you are in the class, he gave us “advanced CCIE routing and switching technology books” Total 5 volumes. Each book is compose of very simple labs for each technologies but it will stick into your brain if you do few times. It becomes your foundation. Then there is more workbooks that we can work on. This is all included in bootcamp. Then he will send us more updates after bootcamp.
Third, his lecture style is very unique in these days. You may heard many time that he doesn’t like power point. “Yes” he doesn’t like that at all, but why it is better? Because, he totally brake down each component and explain to you by his heart, not reading or reciting. Can you imagine that he can do that for all the topic on blue print?
Fourth, he doesn’t mind helping the people who needs little bit of help. I have been seen he let some student take class free and send workbooks free, etc.. He will not do that for everybody but it is good to know that he is doing that. It is not like that he wants anything back from them and advertise those.
Finally, I guess even though I did not pay for this training out of my own pocket, I definitely got more than what I spend. I don’t think anyone will regret to attend his class if you do your part, doing “Sup-To-Nuts” ..etc..
